After reading Girl Explorers, two Nebraska seventh graders found themselves captivated by Blair Niles, one of SWG’s visionary founding members. Channeling this inspiration into a National History Day project, they brilliantly demonstrated how Niles spearheaded Revolution, Reaction, and Reform in history. It is a powerful reminder to our members—and those looking to join—that the footprints we leave today pave the way for the historians of tomorrow.
