In its headquarters building on Capitol Hill, the Society of Woman Geographers maintains a collection of more than 2,000 books and articles by and about its members, covering the great variety of SWG interests, from anthropology to geography to zoology. An online catalog is being developed.
The library's holdings do not circulate but are available to serious researchers by appointment. Phone (202-546-9228) and e-mail (email@example.com) queries are welcome.
Periodically, records of former members of the Society are transferred to the Library of Congress, where they are available from the Manuscript Division.
