Only a few years after the end of World War II in Europe, thousands of surviving secret documents were discovered beneath the ruins of the Warsaw Ghetto. These documents had been collected and buried by an underground group whose mission was to chronicle life in the Ghetto during the Nazi occupation. Today this treasured material, named for the group’s creator, is housed in Warsaw's Jewish Historical Institute and is listed on UNESCO's Memory of the World Register. For the past three years, Ann has worked as a visual researcher for the upcoming documentary film that is based on Samuel Kassow's book of the same name: Who Will Write Our History? Emanuel Ringelblum, the Warsaw Ghetto, and the Oyneg Shabes Archive. Ann will speak about the project and her contributions to it.
